WASHINGTON Old Hall will be offering free entry on two days this month, as part of the annual Heritage Open Days programme.
The historic seventeenth century manor house and ancestral home of George Washington will open its doors with free admission on Friday, September 18 and Sunday, September 20.
Heritage Open Days is a national event which takes place each September, organised by the National Trust and supported by the Postcode Lottery, where events and experiences celebrate the history and culture on your doorstep.
Washington Old Hall is one of a number of venues taking part across the North East. Admission will be from 11am-3pm both days and booking is not required.
