THE North East Land, Sea and Air Museum (NELSAM) is gearing up for its final event of 2026 this weekend.
The museum, based at the former RAF Usworth and Sunderland Airport site next to Nissan, will host a Living History Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18.
Visitors will be able to step back in time as history is brought to life through living history and shooting displays, re-enactors showcasing uniforms and equipment from WW2, vintage vehicles and more.
The event will run from 10am-4pm both days and usual NELSAM admission fees apply. There is free parking on site.
