BOWES Railway is continuing its 200-year celebrations with two competitions aimed at getting people creative this autumn.
The museum, in Springwell Village, is running a Creative Writing and an Art Competition, both with three age categories.
The Creative Writing Competition is open to stories, poems, scripts and anything inspired by 200 years of history of Bowes Railway, Springwell Colliery and its people.
The Art Competition is open to paintings and drawings of the railway, pit, the people and its history.
The age categories for both competitions are Children aged 11 and under, young people aged 12-18 and adults.
Prizes include an Amazon tablet and the chance to have your work featured in the Bowes Railway publication.
