THE team behind Washington Carnival has released more details of this year’s event – and are inviting potential stallholders to get in touch.
The popular event, funded by Washington Area Committee, will return on Saturday, September 19 at Albany Park, with the usual mix of entertainment for all the family.
From 10am-4pm, visitors can enjoy attractions like fairground rides, food and drink vans, climbing wall, circus skills and games, a local history exhibition, face painting and live music.
The exhibitions marquee will also return, an assortment of stalls and organisers still have some space available for anyone still wanting to hire a stall on the day – these tend to include local bakers, crafters, charity stands and more.
