WASHINGTON IS READY FOR 2026 REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICES

WASHINGTON is getting set to honour those who gave their lives in service tomorrow – Sunday, November 8.

The traditional Remembrance Sunday parade, church service and two minutes’ silence will once again take place at Washington Village and Fatfield tomorrow morning.

Members of the community and across the town are invited to join in and pay tribute to the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

Holy Trinity Washington – aka the Church on the Hill – will host its Service of Remembrance at 9.30am. This will also be streamed online for anyone who is unable to attend in person.

Following the service, the congregation will gather at the Cenotaph at the Village Green.
