GALLERIES WALKWAY AND ENTRANCE RE-OPENS

IT’S almost back to business as usual for shoppers at the Galleries following the re-opening of the walkway near Asda.

After closing for essential maintenance work in April, the pathway to the main centre doors near Ladbrokes and down to Asda opened last week.

After months of either avoiding the Western car parks or walking through the bus station, shoppers can now use the steps and ramp as usual to get into the mall.

The stairs from the path into the bus station are also now open for use.

While the first part of the work is complete allowing pedestrian access, work on the road remains ongoing with the one-way system to the Blue Badge car park still in place.
