PUPS and pooches are set to take centre stage at fun event next month – and everyone is invited.
The Rotary Club of Washington is hosting its Fun Dog Show on Sunday, September 10 at Dame Margaret’s Playing Field in the Village.
The show will run from 1-4pm and is all about having fun and somewhere where owners and dogs can get together in a relaxed atmosphere.
Rosettes will be presented to the top three in all classes and the Rotary Washington Trophy will be awarded to the Best Dog in Show. The classes are:
- Best Rescue
- Best Veteran (7yrs plus)
- Prettiest Girl
- Scruffiest Dog
- Dog with the Waggiest Tail
- Dog/Owner Lookalike
- Best Puppy (6-12mnth)
- Most Handsome Boy
- Best Trick
- Best in Show
Entries will be accepted from 1pm on the day and judging will begin at 2pm. Entries cost £2 per class or £5 for three classes.
