DOGS and horses will be taking centre stage this weekend as Washington Riding Centre hosts a Family Fun Day.
The event will be held this Sunday, September 3 at the Stephenson Road centre from 11am-3.30pm. 
It will feature a dog show from 11am which costs £3 to enter and must be booked in advance, with rosettes awarded to placed finishers.
General admission is free with entertainment including stalls and refreshments along with a raffle and tombola plus bouncy castle priced at £5 per child.
Pony rides will also be available priced at £5, but must be booked in advance so staff can have the ponies ready.
