WASHINGTON’S Lloyds Bank will close its doors for two months later this week ahead of a major refurbishment.
The Galleries branch will close at noon this Friday, September 25 as it undergoes a refit – and will not open again until December.
Customers who still like to visit their bank in person for their everyday banking will still be able to access its services during the renovation by visiting the team at Halifax, also in The Galleries.
The temporary closure comes just days after the announcement than Lloyds and Halifax were shutting a number of local branches across the UK in the coming months.
However, Washington bankers can rest assured that The Galleries branch is not one of them and this is just a temporary measure to refit the store.
It is due to open again for business as usual at 9.30am on Tuesday, December 1.
